Fresh snow? Yes. Tracks set? Yup. Firm skate deck? You bet. Cold temps? Got that too. Get in some late season skiing this week while the snow and temps last.

We received 2" of fresh powder on Sunday which was renovated into the packed powder base. We had no thaws this season, no rain, and one very light sleet event. The conditions are amazing. Fresh tracks were set last night and the skate deck is firm and wide.

It just doesn't get any better than this. Great tracks and firm skate decks. All trails open, including a new one and one that hasn't been groomed in years. Join us this Saturday for a 3k candlelight ski and bonfire.

Perfect. Skied Bambas, Deer, Sommers, Screamer, Highlands. Note that Hannah Jo isn't groomed. Great cover, firm tracks, well groomed. Thanks Ely!

Reset tracks and groomed the skate deck after last nights inch and a half. Grooming plans: Hanna Jo, Pine Park and Black Spruce should open this week bringing us to full operation.

Skated on sommers loop and bombas. Snowing today. Good skis fine on main skate trails, very nice.

Bambas loop was in rough shape. Ice. Rocks. Dirt. Very little fresh snow. Sommer’s loop was in good shape with some icy patches throughout. Nicely groomed. Didn’t ski any inner trails.

Lost most of our base to rain. Back to early season conditions. Very little snowpack over ice with protruding rocks. Rock skis only, expect ski damage.

I have been skiing Hidden Valley most days this past week. Sunday conditions were very good for skating. Deck is solid and was recently refreshed by the groomers. Great to have such good conditions. Watch for a few rocks in the center as the weather warms and the snow condenses. You can use good skis, just keep your eyes open.

27 F. Sun, no wind, no clouds. Rossignol skin skis. The tracks and corduroy are excellent. There is grass poking through the tracks in many places, but easily skied over or around. Under pine trees the snow is thin in places, also easy to avoid.
