Trails are narrow single track snowmobile groomed. Grooming was poor on the west side of Bally Creek Road. They had not been done in awhile and the tracks were broken down and the deck soft. In some cases the Sundling loop, I think the tracks were skier set on after a snowmobile had been through wiping out the grooming. It was hard to move fast enough to stay warm. Not all the trails were groomed. On the east side and on Bally Creek Road and on the road itself the grooming was much better and seemed to be more recent. The deck was still quite soft and given the narrow trails plunging poles were an issue and hills were hard because they were too narrow to herringbone and poles plants did not hold. But the scenery is beautiful and if you like skiing that brings you back to yesteryear, this is a great place.
