Firsthand: Freestyle 
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Minus 8C and snow showers at 10am. Beautiful mid-winter conditions out at Lappe this morning. 5cm cold powder over trails that were PistenBully groomed yesterday before the races. Snow depth on the trails right now is actually the deepest it's been all winter, and that's saying something this year.

Firsthand: Both 
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Beautiful night under the lights at Lappe. Cold, hard, mostly good conditions for skate and classic. Better for classic tonight. Busy as usual. Lots of traffic and not a lot of new snow the past couple weeks, but I didn't see any rocks or bare spots on the 6-ish km night loop. Good coverage everywhere. Races scheduled for this Saturday.

Firsthand: Classic

About 20 LNR athletes up at Lappe for the week. Skiing is surprising good! Classic is excellent; skate a little bumpy but no dirt or rocks. 7km open with excellent track.
