Notes

The trail is on rolling terrain meandering through a mixed hardwood and deciduous forest. This is an actively managed forest so the scenery may change from one season to another. Expect to see signs of moose, deer and timber wolves sometimes sharing the groomed trail. The difficulty level is predominantly easy to moderate with some expert level on the east end of the system. From I35 go west on Hwy 210 about 17 miles to CR 120. Go north and east 4 mi to trailhead.

Pleasantly surprised to see the trailhead parking lot nicely plowed after the large snowstorm earlier in the week. The trails were ungroomed but untouched other than wildlife tracks. Broke trail on the wider skis, excellent deep coverage, and fun, beautiful trails. There were a few trees across the trail, but fairly easy to get around them. Excellent peaceful day in the woods, will definitely come back!
