Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
6 - 10" fresh wet heavy snow. 32 degrees, snowing lightly. Groomers spent most of the morning removing fallen tree limbs and shoveling snow back onto two plowed road crossings. We packed and leveled/groomed Trail #3 in Evergreen Park. There is one thin 25 meter stretch on that trail along the river near the new bridge. We packed Trails #8 and #9 at Maywood with a snowmobile, but haven't groomed it yet. Grooming plans: Grooming of those three trails will be completed after tonight's snow fall and a drop in temperature. The main trail #1 that runs through the entire system will not be groomed due to fallen trees across the trail and open wet spots.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
We began grooming today but the wet snow bogged down the snowmobile and groomer on turns. Grooming plans: We will give it another shot tomorrow, after the snow has a chance to dry a bit. The northeast corner is very thin. No classic track set yet.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
We groomed Maywood North today. It is thin. The downhill is sketchy and probably bare by the end of today. We took a look at Evergreen and Maywood South. A few spots were okay, but many spots are icy, thin or bare so we didn't groom. Skiers were breaking trail but be careful if you do.

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
I skied almost all of the trail system. There was some very nice spots. Trail 9 (the upper part of Maywood) is pretty good but there are some thin spots. The upper section of Evergreen is pretty good, with some thin spots. The rest of the trail system is pretty hit and miss. In almost all downhill areas you need to sidestep down the hill. The trails are bumpy with lots of foot and bike traffic on them. Use a great deal of caution on most sections of the trail system.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
We received about three to four inches of dry snow. All trails were packed with the snowmobile. Most trails were not groomed due to thin snow conditions. Maywood north was groomed but use caution. The upper part of Evergreen was groomed but caution is also warranted. Lots of foot traffic already on the trails. If you ski take it slow to make sure you can see bare spots and other hazards, such as uneven trail conditions.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
After almost two years a little grooming was done this morning. Prior to grooming there was about three inches of snow on the trails, though some spots were quite thin. I packed most of the trails with the snowmobile. I went over trail nine with the groomer. Trail nine is .7 K. There is both good and bad spots. New snow was falling as I was grooming. Use caution.
