Skied much of the trail, high school loop, back loop and elementary loop. Coverage is good. One bare spot going off the ball field, and the high school loop roller coaster down and up by the high school is a massive puddle and impassable on the trail. Other than that there are a few days left to spring ski!

Grooming [ Trails Open: Most, ]

After the Spooner area received about 3-4 inches of new snow, the ski trails at Spooner's College Street Park were groomed. There are/were quite a few sticks and branches down. A track was set as well. A part of the trail southeast of the soccer fields is underwater, so of course, that section wasn't groomed. There is a good base, skiers just have to avoid the debris, so B skis are in order. Lights are on and the warming shelter is open evenings...enjoy!

The trails at Spooner College Street Park are in very good shape. The skate trail base is firm, level, and has very good coverage. The classic tracks are firm and should provide good stride skiing. The trails had a new dusting of snow and when I skied they were very fast. The new snow also offers good control for skating. The lights are on until 9 each night and there is a warming house.

After some recent grooming, the skate lane and classic tracks are in very good shape at the Spooner City Park Trails. The trails have good coverage providing a smooth surface to skate on. The new classic tracks are deep and firm and should set up well overnight. There are a couple of kilometers that are lighted until 9 pm.

Good conditions in the classic tracks and the skater in my group said the grooming on the skate lane was nice. The name is a misnomer, it doesn’t feel like you are near town, you are definitely in the woods for most of the trail.

After the Spooner area received about 12 inches of new snow, the seven kilometers of Spooner City Park Trails were groomed. The base is firm and new tracks were set, there is good coverage with some very light leaves and debris here and there. The lights are on until 9 and the warming house is open when hockey is present. Enjoy!

Definitely rock ski conditions. Skied all the trails, some are better than others. Pretty worn, lots of leaves, grass and some rocks in places. Very thin base. North sides of hills are best, the hill and soccer field by the high school have the best conditions.

With 3-4 inches of new snow, the College Street Park trail was groomed on Tuesday. Coverage is light and soft especially on the middle school and pit loops. No track was set. The lights are on until nine each night and when hockey is in session, the new warming house is open. Happy Holidays, enjoy!
