The skate deck was re-groomed this morning. Classic tracks that were set throughout a few days ago are ok, but with fluffy snow, the side walls are not very firm.  .

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
The skate deck in the upper and lower fields and the first loop in the woods were groomed last night and will be gone over again this morning. Hoping the new snow bonded to the hard pack beneath.

A good base and Jerry's consistently awesome work every day made for good conditions. Honestly the combo of the location and Jerry's magic has saved me again this year. Come on weather gods help us out a little here!

Dude! This place is bangin! First time skiing the trails here, absolutely loved it. The trails here are clearly well groomed. This morning there were covered with a thin layer of wet, fairly slow/sticky new snow, but it is clear that the base underneath is in pretty good shape. Even the Woods trails had only a few semi-bare/thin spots. Props to the grooming team here!

Really nice conditions on the trails in the fields. Good coverage with just a few icy patches and minimal debris. If there was a Pro Bowl for trail groomers, Jerry Gensch would be in it. He was out grooming again this morning when the temperature was just 9 degrees.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
The skate deck in the fields has been groomed and "appears" to be in good to very good condition, however you may encounter some hard pack. Classic tracks are ice and were left intact.  We did not receive any new snow as of Wednesday morning. Grooming plans: The woods will be groomed later today.

Perfect conditions at CLCF Nordic today. With full coverage, trails groomed this morning, sunshine, and mild temperatures, it doesn't get better than that! Thanks to Jerry for all of his efforts in making Fox Hills such an amazing place to ski!

Striding on waxless skis was good. Grooming, tracks mostly good but occasionally washed out. Snow coverage is surprisingly solid but suspect you could possibly break through to the ground, so I'm suggesting B skis.

We received 2-3 inches of new snow. The skate deck was re-groomed, new classic tracks were set, and the parking lot was plowed.

All the skate lanes were groomed this morning with very good conditions in the fields and B skis in the woods. Classic tracks are ok in most places but some got blown in with the light snow last night.
