Outer loop is the best skiing. I skate skied the outer loop in decent, frosty conditions at 9-10 am. Just needed to avoid the self made classic track where some decided to classic ski in the middle of the skate deck in yesterday's warmth.

Groomed 5km outer loop only, both skate lanes and classic track. Three passes. Ripped up classic track and on third pass set a new classic track. Inside segments not re-groomed.

A dusting of snow overnight. Groomed outer loop skate lane. Set new classic track on outer loop and most interior segments. Old track is very skiable where it exists. New track is desent but some poorer areas due to hard snow pack.

Groomed all skate lanes after the dusting of snow last night. Made two passes. Also set a classic track on the upper, inside (difficult/black) segments.

Best conditions ever, Bryan Pike. The boys came up and we skied 21 K today. The center trails were outstanding in the sunshine today.

Thank you, Brainerd Ski Club groomers! They have done an incredible amount of work this week. Just skied the new tracks that were set. A bit soft, but it was fantastic and not a single leaf! A few short connectors haven't been fully groomed. The skate deck should firm up!

Re-groomed nearly all trail segments - exception is the upper, interior classic trail (black/difficult). All skate lanes and new track done for good weekend skiing.

After 10 inches of snow and wind in Deerwood I beat down many drifts with the snowmobile. Once drifts were knocked down a bit, I pulled the roller to pack. No tracks yet. Soft base needs to freeze and firm up. Grooming plans: Tracks to be set later in the week.

Groomed the outside loop--skate lane and set new track in -5 temps. Should set up fast. Also set new track on portions of the lower inside segments. If I only had a nickel for every stick I picked up.

Trails in excellent shape. Went on the easy and more difficult classis trails. Some leaves but no impact on skiing.
