Great conditions on the Banadad. Skied from the eastern trailhead to the turn off to mid-trail yurt. Trail is a bit rough around the hills but otherwise the skiing couldn't be better.

Best skiing in years; major snow fall, great ski conditions. Friday night we re-groomed the entire Banadad Trail System (41km). We have been grooming sections early in the week but received over 12" of new snow, so had to re-groom the whole trail. Recent skiers reported "best skiing in years" conditions. 48+ inches in the woods, 33 inches on the trail with base of 27 inches. Over 12 inches new snow past few days. Great skiing!

Lots of new snow on the Banadad. The skiing is fantastic. Trails freshly tracked this morning. Curry is the best groomer ever. We skied Lace Lake Trail and the East end of the Banadad.

Freshly groomed, at least from the east, while we were skiing. We started at the eastern trailhead. The first two miles to the Lizz/Poplar Lakes portage were recently skied and in very good condition. Rare bits of fir twigs or cones on the trail and nicely set tracks. After that point the next two miles were under a light layer of recent snow (less than an inch) but previous tracks were still easy to follow. We were passed by the groomer around 3.25 miles in, then followed until mile 4, where we turned back. We don't know how far beyond that point the groomer continued, and haven't seen any updates online yet. Ironically, the groomer ended up surfacing more debris on the trail, but it was small and not a concern to us.

The Banadad was groomed Saturday and we skied the west end Sunday and the east end (east trailhead to west of the Meeds Lake portage) on Monday. Solid base, nice grooming and a little fresh powder Sunday night. All excellent.
