Observation
[ Trails Open: All ]
I had limited time and did not re-groom Wolf Lake Trails. The old track will be firm and fast when the temp is less than 32 degrees F. Try Larson Lake Trails just south of Deerwood, MN for better conditions since the outer loop there (6km) was groomed today and track was re-set.

Back in Business!. Trails packed and groomed today after the 9" of snow on Monday. I talked to the guy with the two dogs and he said he would not bring his dogs in the future. Near pristine conditions...Ski in the coolness of the morning for a firm track and fast.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Began to groom late morning (after Larson Lake was completed). No packing ahead of the BIG Alpina Sherpa. The 9 inches of wet (30 F) snow packed into and between the tracks of the Sherpa...dug out the packed snow from machine and limped back to the truck with ungroomed trail. Plan to go out Wednesday morning in 15 F temps and hope to have the trail groomed by noon.

Trails were in great shape with plenty of snow now. Slightly soft since the snow was kind of fluffy, but freshly groomed and had a great time on a really nice day out there.
