Parkside has a 2-3" snow base with several trees down and semi frozen water crossings on the trails. Skating or classical is possible but is more of an adventure. No more grooming is planned for year.

The skating lane was groomed Sunday evening. No grooming in the pine area. The classical track was left as is due to the low snow conditions. We have a 1"-2" base but generally nice conditions after the latest dusting.

Fair to good conditions. Packed base was only about 1 inch deep, but coverage pretty goods. partial grooming recently with mostly skier made classic tracks. Center area was nicely groomed but was rather thin west of the high point, East of the high point was very good. I took a chance on skiing the Southeast loop even though I knew it hadn't been regroomed recently. It was better than expected. I was concerned about possibly scraping on gravel, but didn't have any issues. The skating lane may be a little soft though.

Skied late morning after yesterday's lake-effect snow and Steve's overnight grooming. Overall okay to good, considering the low amount of snow. Some sections with thin snow have small patches of grass, dirt, sticks poking through. Southwest loop under pine and cedar trees snow is too thin to ski (had to "walk" skis). Avoid this section until more snow.

The trail recieved 3" of lake effect snow. The trail was groomed Friday evening with the tidd-tech. The pines and SE loop was not done. The existing classical track was left alone where possible. The base is 2" and rock skis are recommended. The snow up the middle is the deepest and I was able to set a track.

Several small snowfalls over the past five days built up the base just enough to be groomed today. However, the snow is very thin in places. It is too thin to set classical tracks in some sections. We tried to preserve some of the 'skied-in' classical tracks where possible. Be aware that some sections have some grass, sticks, and dirt showing. Use rock or B skis. More snow is needed.

Classic track was icy with a lot of oak leaves in it so I spent most of my time in the skating lane, which was much improved with the recent regrooming. Pines area was very dirty so I recommend avoiding it.

The skate deck was groomed to soften the surface and fill in some ruts. Skating should be good on Tuesday. The pine area was not groomed. The classical track is hard and icy.

Tracks look ok in most areas. There are two small sections that the tracks look walked on or washed out. The skate deck is hard and fast, the rain then deep freeze created a nice crust. There are some pine needles and some leaves and sticks in areas. Nothing too bad. Very skiable and very fun. Thanks to the volunteers who groom!

Trails okay to good, especially considering the rainy warm weather earlier in week. Some thin or icy sections. Lots of leaf litter, pine needles, and small sticks from recent wind. Seems too chunky, icy to groom, so I'm hoping for few more inches of snow over the solid base.
