Trails getting worn, and pretty crusty/glazed after yesterdays melt. Still plenty of coverage but a better double pole workout than kick-glide skiing. At least I did not have correct wax on for any kind of kick. Enjoyed the park though as several eagles and 2 white-tailed deer seen along the way. Sure is nice skiing in temps right around freezing.

Absolutely a beautiful ski on a track well set. I remain thankful to the grooming team and truly appreciate the opportunity to ski in Springvale. Kudos to those who respect the x-country ski tracks and signage.

Fabulous hard set tracks in great shape. Just a little leaf litter in places but no issues really. Most of the trails have double track set. Cold day, but snow offering reasonable glide. Park also has some what looks like excellent Fat Tire Bike trails running back and forth around the ski trails. Thanks to groomers for offering all the options, even hikers have a packed trail.

Used my waxless classics, the trail was drifted over and stepped on from the parking lot until it turns away from the lake, but very good in the woods. There were a couple other places in the open prairie that were covered by blown snow. It was my first time skiing this trail, and I'm impressed with the grooming and the rolling terrain.

Trails were regroomed recently (since last heavy, wet snow) and the result is wonderful. With the refreezing, I was concerned about icy conditions. However, with the reset tracks, I was good to go and enjoyed a very nice ski. As always, thank you Barry for your attention to the ski trails in Springvale!

Winter Wonderland with frosted trees and shrubs. What a special feeling skiing along countryside like this. Trails in good groomed condition, although a few thin areas. Some people walked on the set tracks in a few areas. Still a nice outing.

Skied in the tracks over the last two days (not groomed since last snow) and many thanks to the other skiers who also skied in the tracks. Made for very pleasant times on the trails despite they were not recently groomed. Disappointed I missed the walker who walked on top of our skied in tracks!

First ski of the season and very thankful to Barry and crew for a wonderful ski today. Given the amount of snow, the ski trail was quite nice. The current trail plan allows many options for walkers, snowshoers, and dogs to stay off the tracked ski trails. Pleased to see most folks found a way to do that. Safer for us skinny ski folks. So happy to be skiing in Springvale again!

Nicely tracked trails for diagonal skiing. Conditions are early season with some grass sticking up through track. Some dirt areas and even a few asphalt trail crossings with bare spots. But all intrusions are easily avoided by stepping over or around. So much of the trail is just a treat to ski as central MN woods are represented in stunning fashion. It appears the groomers are trying to make multi-use trails with some of the areas, and also added fat tire single track trails through the woods. Skiing to far end of the park and back to car took just under an hour.
