Reset the track at Amen lake and south Soumi. Only a few inches of new snow but some drifting in places.

A couple of inches of snow and some drifts made for some great trail blazing to find the set tracks on Amen Lake system. Tracks to south Suomi were cleared by many skiers since the weekend of blowing snow. Great day to ski Amen and Suomi! Cold, slow snow with lots of snow for control on the downhill twists and turns.

Groomed the Amen Lake trails today. About 4 inches of new snow and lots of wear and tear from many happy skiers over the weekend. All the sins have been covered up.

Beautiful out skiing near Amen Lake this morning. One perfect classic track set down the middle! Could have used wider grooming on the up and down hills, it was tough to herringbone without catching ski tips and then falling forward. Some bailout space space on the downhills would help to build confidence for a successful trip down the hills. Love the varied terrain!
