Rid lake's grooming machine is out for the season. They borrowed a snowmobile from high point village and groomed it the old fashion way. The trails are in very good shape. Plenty of snow.

Skied from Thum trailhead to the east. Did some of the green loop and cut off the beginners trail. W to V was not groomed, nor was Die Promenade. The trail had an inch of new powder on it from the morning though people had skated and classic skied on it. Good coverage and grooming!

Great conditions at Rib Lake. It was only the second time I skied here. When on the championship trails (west of county D), there are no cutoffs like the map shows, so you end up doing the whole loop. I was planning on cutting it short but just kept going and I was very relieved to find myself back at County D as I was worried that I had much further to go back to my car at the county C lot.
