Grooming
[ Trails: Closed, Bare ground ]
Our early (October!) rock ski conditions are gone and recent snow has not accumulated due to intermittent rain and unfrozen ground. Grooming operations are 100% ready for incoming snow when it materializes. Trails on the fairways of the golf course are "modestly" lit for night skiing. Lights are solar powered flood lights which stay lit 4-5 hours after sunset. Once our new warming shelter/grooming storage building is complete the trailer warming hut at the Strangeway Trailhead will remain open at all times. We hope the new building is complete by Christmas break. All trails and facilities are provided and maintained by Ice Age Nordic Ski Club but fully open to the public, donations are welcome at trailhead but not mandatory.
