Notes

This trail has a variety of scenery as it winds around three lakes and through different types of terrain. It has a few rolling hills. Most of the trail follows old logging roads. This is an excellent trail for skiers of all abilities. There is a shelter located on the trail with a fire ring.

All loops have been cut and single tracked. Varying track depths and scattered debris throughout all the loops. The base is very hard due to freezing rain over the weekend.

Skied most of the loops of this double-tracked trail system this morning, after it was freshly groomed. The tracks were nice and firm, making for a fun ski. Thanks for the early morning grooming!

Very good conditions Friday afternoon at Madeline. Tracks on the (classic only) trails were solid throughout the red and yellow loops we skied. It is pretty open around the trails now, so this may not be the best choice for a wind, or warm and sunny, day.
