Trails flow on hilly terrain along Rice Creek on Ramsey County open space land. Maintained by Irondale high school ski team and volunteers. Access from Irondale athletic fields or Poppyseed Drive. Also known locally as Irondale Nordic Ski Trails.

Firsthand: Both 
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Great ski this morning with the falling snow! Trails were not groomed today but obviously groomed since Monday's big snow. All the trails were open with oak leaves covering some of the trails. Skate deck was great. Classic tracks still usable a lot of areas but blowing snow/new snow had covered some areas.

The entire trail was groomed and tracks set. Good coverage - certainly at least B skis and even good skis if paying attention. Not enough snow to smooth out all bumps and divots but enough to keep away any ski eating things.

Firsthand: Freestyle 
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Groomed for skate, no classic tracks. Solid base with fair conditions due to scattered leaves, sticks, and dirty patches in the woods. Good conditions on the athletic fields. Great to be skiing on natural snow again!
