Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomed all the East side and majority of west side. Groomer brought up more snow than I thought it would. All the groom trail has snow on the corduroy but in areas tracks are shallow. I would say the track is 40% very good, 30% good, and 30 % fair to poor. Fair to poor is shallow or icy track. Hills should have enough snow in pole deck to control speed even if shallow track. Most downhills have deep tracks but not all.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We had almost 3” of new snow this morning and all of the Goose Lake Trail was groomed and tracks set. It is enough snow to cover up all the wind blown debris. Tracks are deep and will set up well if not too many skier skied right after grooming. Full 12 miles of trail has grooming and tracks.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
I groomed the East side of Goose Lake trail. It cleaned up very nice. An hour later the tracks were set nice and firm. I skied the west side that was not groomed. It is in good shape but starting to get a lot of drifting in several spots.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomed all of the East side trails and the whole west side outer loop. The tracks set well on most of the trail with the Ginzu Knives breaking up the top crust and pulling up new snow. Under the heavy pines the tracks are shallow in a few places. With the great snow deep it allows very good trail conditions after the weekend of warm weather.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Jerry and I groomed the whole east side and all 8 km of the outer west side. Snow is so deep that even with no new snow for the last 8 days we were able to make very clean new trail. It is a winter wonderland out there, get out and enjoy the trails.

[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Jon and I packed the west side of Goose Lake. After numerous passes packing the whole east side and the outer west side was groomed and tracked. Lots of snow shoe and deer trackers were covered along with a lot of wind debris. Because of the deep snow in the woods the deer are using sections of the trail for their movement. The east side is setting up firm but I expect the west side will be softer for another day.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
The east side of Goose Lake was packed and groomed this morning. There is about 8” of new snow. Two packing passes and one grooming pass was done. The west side is OK to ski if you like skiing thru deep snow. It was not drifting while grooming but the winds are getting gustier now.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Fresh grooming on Goose Lake this morning. The whole east side and the outer loop of the west side has been groomed. We had about 3” of new snow. Enough snow to cover all the debris but the snow did not track as well as I like; track is softer than I would like.
