The snow on the golf course cart paths has partially melted down to a 1 inch crust which can be skated or strided on today over with a few bare patches.

No grooming had been done as of 11 AM. There is good snowcover throughout the park. Snow was wet and 5 inches deep making skate skiing nearly impossible. But you can make your own tracks or follow others on the golf course or in the woods and have an enjoyable outing.

Yikes. Pretty awful. Was hopeful for a little skiing but the ice footprints, dog prints, snowshoes and probably most disappointing, the classic skier who went right down the center of the skate path. I wouldn't recommend even trying, if all of the above doesn't get you the surprise floodplains will. Skinny skis don't do well in 3" water!

Skate track was not groomed as of Saturday around noon, but the path was well defined with a very solid base and no ice.

Not groomed, but there is ample snow covering. Followed the path of other skate tracks and snow is getting packed down and is skiable. The path I followed today is much shorter than the usual.

A few bare spots and sticks on the trails. Track for classic skis is hit or miss. Still great to be out on a gorgeous sunny day.

Skied the trails across from the golf course. Not groomed, likely not enough snow yet, but lots of tracks laid. Slick, and lots of grass poking through, but skiable, and fun.

Groomer was passing through at 7:30 this morning. Today might be your last chance for awhile so get out there and enjoy it!

Skate ski conditions on golf course are generally good. Firm and fast with several thin areas that are easy to avoid. Should be nice this weekend. Thank you Milwaukee county park staff for the trail grooming.

Classic track on the north side of the road ranges from good to mediocre to non existent. Wooded areas were OK. Open fields were completely blown in.
