Trail Reports

2018-2019 season
Reports 1 to 4 of 4    Month: Mar | Jan
Friday, March 8, 2019
Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Since the course was last groomed, the skate deck has been slightly polluted with boot tracks, dog tracks, fat tire tracks, and forest litter, but the conditions are still pretty good, you bet. Only 2 loops are tracked for classic skiing.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
All loops are recently groomed with a skate deck, but only one of those loops has a classic track. The trails are in very good condition although we had half an inch of light snow last night and it's windy today, so there is some slight drifting in open areas. Good skiing, you bet.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Wow, I remember how excited I was when I was 10 years old and got my first BB gun. Same feeling when I skied the trails today. Great job, thank you, grooming crew, One caution is a fat bike tire track made some big ruts so watch your self on the downhills.

Evening
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
All trails were groomed but no tracks were set. The base is thin under the pines, but otherwise all trails have complete snow coverage and good conditions. There may be some oak leaves and small branches lying about, but can easily be avoided. Sledders were flying down the sliding hill.
