Viking Ship trail was stop #3. At the start I bumped into former MN Vikings Jim Christopherson who was also the head football coach for 32 years at Concordia Moorhead. He still skiing strong at 84 and a big inspiration before the ski. The skate deck was level and mostly smooth. A few icy sections here and there. The new groomer was working the west or south end. Wasn't soft and nice skiing. Didn't get a picture but probably the biggest largest cottonwood tree in the FM area is along the trail. Also were 15 deer off the side but weren't doing any damage to the trail. Coolest part of this trail is the Stave Kirke next to the trail next to the Viking ship. A must top if in the area.

It was a little warm but the trails were nicely groomed! I saw a lot of people on the trail tonight.

The ground blizzard filled the tracks and there were some running footprints through the classic tracks. Hopefully it gets groomed this week.

Good to very thin. Dog piles are on the track, people are walking all over it and they're walking their dogs without leashing. Hit a dog today and landed on the cement trail below. I recommend going to Maplelag.
