Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Groomed all the trails after the recent 3-4" of new snow. Everything is looking good except the one spot on top of the hill of alpine that is thin yet. Get out and enjoy it.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Very good skiing, most of the time the track was solid. Base is thin with a few blades of grass and leaves on occasion. Overall great to be skiing, thank you groomers. Did not ski alpine loop.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Groomed all the trails tonight. The wind was not bad at all in the woods and there was only drifting in the most open areas. Alpine was groomed but the open hill was cleared off by the wind so not recommend unless you are willing to walk for bit or ski around it. Overall things are looking pretty good out there now. Just ski.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
The interior trails have good cover. Pit Run is still adventure skiing - Alpine had yesterday's snow blown off the hill leaving poor coverage. There is a huge pine tree at the bottom lying across the trail on the turn. The gates are open for back country skiing with extreme caution as many rocks are lurking just under the surface. The trail with no tracks cut isn't rock free. My advice would be to not ski on Alpine. It was great to see about 25 skiers today enjoying the new snow!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
I still needed to lift the track cutter in a few places. The snow that has fallen over the last few days was very light and fluffy, not much help filling a few low coverage areas. We did spend some time shoveling snow onto two off camber areas. The trails aren't perfect, but skiable. Pit Run is still in the adventure skiing category.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Reset tracks on most of the trails. Did not get back on Pit Run, old tracks are very skiable. Drug as much of the side snow as possible onto the trail. Still needed to lift track cutter in a couple places in order to not drag up dirt. Lots of skiers out this afternoon taking advantage of the great weather and fluffy powder snow. I stopped and asked a skier how it was. "A lot better than last year!" was his response. I think all of us can agree. B skis. Alpine Loop hasn't been groomed or packed. We are working with the new land owners to see if we can continue to ski on too over looking the creek valley. Bob Zosel always claimed it was the most beautiful place in the world when the sun was setting and casting golden light through the valley.

Groomed for classic. Thin in spots, but can ski around those spots beside the track. Received 6" of new snow yesterday. Sunrise loop not open.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
Trails have been groomed with tracks set. In spots it would probably be better to ski out of the tracks. It is a bit of an adventure ski, get out and enjoy it.
