Trails were rolled Tuesday and packed and tracked Wednesday night. These are the best conditions we've had all season. There are a few spots where high winds blew the rolled snow off the trail—thin but avoidable.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Despite the warm temps and mixed precipitation, we ended up with an inch or two of snow. Most trails are packed and tracked. Still need to work on the main loop and plan to take care of that Sunday. Tracks are really nice in the wooded areas. Thinner in some of the exposed areas where the wind blew much of the snow from the trail. Skate deck is firm.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Trails are rolled. In preparation for this Sunday's Marine OBrien 50K Classic race (which will utilize the OBrien and Jackson Meadow trails), we are not going to groom the trails until late this week, most likely Friday night. Sorry for the inconvenience. Skiing is still nice!!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Trails were groomed Friday night. Just enough to set a new track. Conditions look very good—with just a few avoidable thin spots in open areas. Tracks and skate deck should be firm with cold overnight temps. Good skis if you are comfortable moving around the trail, otherwise B skis.

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Overall good conditions with all trails open. Some grass/dirt poking through, especially in classic tracks in the open areas. B or maybe rock skis as I had one new scratch in the base. Skate deck firm to soft due to some slight drifting. A group of Fat Tire riders found the trails and left some curvy grooves in the softer areas -- not a problem today, but could be if it sets up firmer. They do a nice job grooming at Jackson so those might be groomed out. Some trails in the woods seem a bit wider this year which was great for skate skiing!

Night
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails are packed and tracked. Skate deck is firm and has good coverage. Classic tracks are excellent in the wooded areas and a little thin in the open areas. The wind picked up overnight with drifting and some tracks will be filled in. We will try and reset tracks after the wind diminishes but in the meantime, skiing is very good.

Night
Firsthand: Freestyle Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Trails were packed Tuesday evening and again Wednesday night. Skied all trails and conditions are good, considering the low snow depth. Nice wide skate deck, not enough snow for tracks. A couple of rocks poking through that were removed, but be aware while skiing.
