After our negative experience at Boulder, we were treated to fresh grooming at Biskey! If that groomer was around he would definitely have gotten a few hugs! Wolf Run and the new easy trail were the only areas groomed, and we took full advantage of the deep new tracks! Make sure you put some money in the donation box if you head over there!

Kudos to the groomers at Biskey for the solid tracks we were treated to today! Wolf Run had quite a bit of doggy traffic on it that decorated the tracks with prints. Eagle ridge, however, was impeccable, debris free, fast and fun throughout! Thank you to the groomers for putting up the "Do Not Enter" signs so people know which way to go, it really makes a difference being able to go down a hill without herringbone tracks in the way! If you have yet to try this trail, it is very well worth the drive! Remember to put some money in the donation box.

Great grooming and skiing. Skied White Pine Alley, Birch Ridge, Eagle Ridge, Black Spruce and parts of Wolf Run. Temperature at 12:30 PM: -6. Appeared I was the first one on trail since grooming on Friday.

Biskey was beautiful! Huge thank you to the groomers for their hard work out there! The classic tracks were fresh and the only problem was on the Eagle Ridge loop where someone went backwards and herringboned up each hill leaving deep marks...made it a challenge to go down them. Temps were a balmy 20F, the sun was out and our group of 2 years old to 66 years old had fun! Head out there if you get a chance, it's well worth the drive! Donation box is there instead of fee to help with grooming expenses.

Most of the trails have been re-groomed as of tonight (compacted/tracked). These trails include White Pine Alley, Birch Ridge, Eagle Ridge, Wolf Run, and Black Spruce as Biskey Ponds Trail is closed for this year. Bundle up! Sounds like we have quite a brisk weekend coming up!

Hadn't been on the Biskey trails for a couple years. Tracks were firm and fairly fast. It seemed like my blue kick wasn't working real well on the uphills but it might have been me not the wax. Met the two guys who groom these pretty trails. They have a donation box to help them with the costs as they get no support other than that. A fun ski on the portion I had time to do (White Pine, Birch Ridge and return to the trailhead).

Trails were well groomed. hard and fast, though wonderfully not icy. A great place to put in some lovely time in the woods.

Grooming

Biskey was groomed again Tuesday afternoon. Sounds like the first steep hill on White Pine may be slightly icy so use caution when going down it. Remember to watch the direction of ski on the one-way trails (clockwise) and look for "Do-Not-Enter" signs at trail junctions going up. Happy skiing!
