Notes

Classical ski track groomed double wide for much of the trail with some flat stretches and hills of varying difficulty in primarily hardwood forests, with views of Hagerman, Ottawa, and Bennan Lakes. The trail is maintained and groomed by Covenant Point Bible Camp.

Took a chance at 43 degrees to get out on the trails. Soft tracks but good in shaded areas. Tough to get into snowplow downhills due to soft snow on sides. Excellent grooming but I just needed to get out a few hours earlier today.

All trail sections groomed and tracked. Heavy snow and a good base have the trails well set in most places. Some areas where the trail isn't flat the tracker slipped and left rough trail sections, however this is pretty limited.

Plenty of fresh powder in the last few days allowed the trails to be groomed and a nice track to be set. All trail sections are groomed/tracked and in good condition.

Great snow on these lightly used trails. About an inch of fresh snow after 9" last week made the track soft and the trail edges fluffy. Tracked downhills make it harder to slow down and snowplow.
