Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Good job with grooming what must have been like an ice rink yesterday. Classic tracks were firm and probably called for klister covered with hard wax but I got away with hard wax though you had to be careful and late kick was punished. Skating lane was bit uneven with small chunks of snow/ice but not bad. Thanks go to the groomer.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Magical conditions with light snow falling, felt like it was my personal winter heaven! Some avoidable brown spots under the trees, could use your good skis. The trails on the golf course are beautiful, have a nice mix of hills and vistas.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle Secondhand
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
The Zimmer loops (inner and outer) were rolled but not tracked. The coverage is very good; there are a few patches where grass is poking through, but there's really enough snow that these are not a problem. I put B skis, but good skis would be fine with minimal care. The snow is soft and dry, pretty slow, especially if you're not waxed for it. Snow was drifting as we skied. I think they will be working to open some of the other trails in the coming days. They said they would be setting tracks soon as well.
