Trail Reports

2020-2021 season
Reports 1 to 7 of 7    Month: Feb | Jan | Dec
Friday, February 26, 2021
Afternoon
Firsthand: Both
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Trails are groomed with tracks on either side and enough room for skate skiing between the tracks. Warm conditions and a great deal of pine needle debris on the trail resulted in less than ideal conditions. Great trail to stop at if traveling between Eau Claire and Duluth. Right off 53.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Both
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
As of Thursday evening, trail had been coarsely dragged but no tracks set. Dragged trail is fairly narrow so skating requires compact technique (it appears there may be only classic skiing available). There are no port-a-potties at any of the three trailhead parking spots, but this trail is very close to Hwy 53 if you're on your way to or from the Twin Ports and desire a convenient ski break on an easy trail.
