Skied the tower loop. Two inches of new snow covered most of the debris on the trail. Classic tracks were in good shape, although almost indiscernible in some places from the new snow. Although the trail is rated intermediate, it's mostly flat except for a hill southeast of the tower. We skied counter-clockwise on the loop and went up that hill. There's an easy descent once you're past the tower. Very beautiful trails.

Nicely groomed, but some areas had lots of debris on the trail. One patch completely covered by the bark work of a black-backed woodpecker, I suspect. Overall I had pretty good glide going.

So glad to have Scenic packed and tracked! The tricky downhills after the Tower are very uneven and difficult to navigate successfully. Hope groomer can make another pass when there is more snow and flatten without setting a track so snowplow turns are doable on the twisty turny downhills.

Trails packed yesterday and tracked today. The snow packed firm. Terrain is uneven due to depth of snow cover. I think about 6 or so tree roots are exposed minimally.
