3 inches of unexpected dry snow Monday evening--Bonus! Trail was groomed and has set up nicely. Tracks were set with good depth now available over the solid base. Birkie/Korte skiers, have a great one. Say Hi when you ski through the Strand-Johnson Gravel Pit aid station!

1.5 inches of new, dry snow were rolled and screen dragged over the icy base we had from the warm weather. That filled things in and left a flat skate deck. Tracks should be set by the weekend when the base warms up a bit. Got those K's in for the Birkie/Korte? Don't let those races be your first skiing of the year. Yes, I hear that every year from some 2 o'clock skiers arriving at the Gravel Pit.

Touched up the trail while it was still cold. Took out ski marks and recent deer tracks. Classic tracks set. Great skiing going into the weekend.

4" of new, dry snow. Rolled and screened it. Temps are dropping, so it should set up very nicely. Tracks plan to be set in the next couple days. Town of Luck has been plowing the parking lot--Thank you!!

The skate deck is bumpy and hard packed. No classic tracks set. A big thank you to the volunteers that make this trail possible.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Five inches of new snow were rolled today. The sections in the woods have branches loaded with snow hanging over the trail, so the majority of the grooming was done in the open sections (7K+). Good base building up, and will set tracks prior to the weekend.

First time here. Awesomely beautiful trails and well groomed. Several small loops to cover and two straight trails for V2. Primarily a beginner and intermediate trail system without big climbs. Awesome tree lined trails, but a few small branches on the edge, so watch your head.

10 inches of fresh snow from the last two storms were rolled and screened. No tracks set yet, building base at this point. No bare spots, should be good skiing for a while.
