Yes we are still skiing in the north. We’ve stopped grooming but skating at Tilson is great. Lots of bare spots, rock skis are nice because you can just walk those without removing your skis.

A lot of snow up north yet. 20+” in the woods and 5” of new snow. Freshly groomed and blue kick wax. The tracks were a little soft but great for March.

Must be a grooming date record for us - fabulous day on the Tilson Creek trails. Just enough new snow for perfect results. We used both Ginzus on all trails and also dragged the notorious Big Bad Blue Hill trail. Let it set up overnight and ski tomorrow.

More snow! Yes! Groomers hit Tilson Creek this morning and it looks fabulous! We pulled lots of snow in front of the Ginzus, but got it all done without trouble. Do not ski today, it will be too soft. (Classic might be ok, check to see you are not ruining our beautiful tracks.) This is the time of year when you can prolong good skiing by only using the trail when the snow is firm. If you see you are leaving deep cuts, turn back, please. Down on the Red, we followed a pair of wolves for nearly the entire trail - neat to be out there.

The temps have been in the upper 40s for several days. Today with colder weather we ran both Ginzus over all trail segments including the Big Bad Blue Hill Trail. The tracks on the Green are thin but are OK elsewhere. The skating is fabulous!

We have 24” in the woods and 5” of new snow. Freshly groomed for skating and no tracks for classic. The trail was in great condition but a little slow because of fresh snow. I never saw anyone on the trail.

Tilson Creek got about 6” of heavy snow ending Thursday morning. After an unsuccessful attempt at rolling yesterday, we returned this morning and used the drag and roller on all trails including the perilous Big Bad Blue Hill trail. Was a perfect day in the woods - sunny and crisp. About zero at 8 AM and +35 at noon. Skate lane looks great.

Ran the Ginzu with teeth down to refresh hard packed skate deck over outer loop of Green, Orange, Yellow, and Red trails. Looked good!

Perfect day to groom! We ran both Ginzus over all the skate lanes this morning in bright sunshine and moderate temps. We did not try to re cut tracks, and left the Big Bad Blue hill trail alone. The refurbished skate lane looks super!

In honor of Birkie weekend we groomed and tracked all the regular trails on Monday. We left the Big Bad Blue Hill trail as it was, just rolled, because we don’t think we can pull Ginzus there. The tracks are mostly fine, with some shallow areas. Skate lanes are in great shape.
