There is a lot of snow on the FG system -- we skied approx 20 km and it fully covered. Snow had pretty much corned up so the glide was good. There was quite a bit of "wolf wax" on the trail so you had to stay nimble.

The snow spigot has been off for 2 weeks now. Still plenty of base and coverage, but trackset is shallow with lots of pine litter. Still decent fat biking in the morning after a cold night. At this point we will only be updating conditions here if there are significant changes.

Observation
[ Trails Open: All ]
Last groomed Monday March 11th. Plenty of base, but tracks will be either soft or icy depending on the temps. Got out on the fatbike trails yesterday morning and they were set up hard and very rideable. Last night we didn't get below freezing, so no fatbiking today. We will continue to groom the trails as long as the weather cooperates and update conditions here.

Some ice in a few spots but mostly great conditions. Sunshine, 20 degrees by 11am, and no crowds made for a really fun ski. Plus, two thumbs up for Andy and National Forest Lodge. Definitely going back next season.

Observation
[ Trails Open: All ]
Slight 1/2" dusting late Friday not enough to groom effectively, but should be nicer to ski on than the thawed and frozen track-set. The fatbike segments were awesome! The thaw and freeze this week got them to set up hard and it was like riding flat bare ground (except when I put my foot into a couple feet of snow off the path turning around). Last grooming was Monday March 11th. Still substantial base and we'll continue to keep things updated and groom if possible.

Last groomed Monday. Hit mid 40s yesterday, so a little icy this morning. About 33F at 9am with not quite enough kick from mistakenly using Violet Special. Argh!

Very good conditions. Couple of messy spots where groomer got stuck in drifts (Flathorn). We will continue to groom the trails as long as the weather cooperates and update conditions here.

Skied loop from National Forest Lodge to 2-1-18-19-20-16-17-and back. Tracks in good shape and I waxed for new snow with good results. Not icy. Sunny day at about 15F degrees. Lots of wolf tracks and a moose too.

Groomed Thursday. Good conditions with some drifting the past 2 days. Extraordinary season with over 3 feet so far since the 1st of the year and virtually no thaws. We will continue to groom the trails as long as the weather cooperates and update conditions here.
