Trail Reports

2021-2022 season
Reports 1 to 10 of 12    Month: Mar | Feb | Jan | Dec

[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The Alder Pond trail group had good ski-formed tracks with just a few places that were ice glazed, I guess depending on how much sun the trail segment had gotten. Trail debris was not very troublesome, and there were maybe three spots where a rock protruded. The South trail loop had light snow cover over the groomed tracks.

This was freshly groomed and I found seven piles of dog feces right in the middle of the trail, two directly in the ski tracks. Dogs have also tore up the trail in some spots going right through the ski tracks. I ran into two different people that both had dogs not on a leash.

Trail had been recently groomed, and the tracks had firmed up nicely. Excellent conditions. Skied 2/3 of the Alder Pond trails as well as, what is called South Trail on the map, which is a delightful little loop through small hills and hollows with good views through the young poplar trees..

Beautiful freshly groomed trails today! I skied out the middle trail and finished on the right trail. Nicely set tracks but blown in on the power line bits. Thank you groomers!

All trails are open but not groomed since last 5 inches of snow. We followed skier tracks through the middle and back around Homestead. Enjoyable ski in the more natural conditions of an ungroomed, skier tracked trail. Snow soft and fluffy, so skier errors no problem. But hoping the county groomer will set double tracks and then single tracks around the outer loops today.

Trails in great shape! Skied the outer loop trail. Groomer had just arrived when I did. Skied outer loop again on Sunday, trails still in great shape!
