[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
With the windy day on Saturday we were unsure how conditions would be, but were glad we made the trip to Outing! We skied the north side of the trails. The slight fresh coat of snow improved the tracks from iciness last weekend. Although we skied on our good skis and most debris was avoidable, others might prefer B skis due to some debris and sticks/bark in the tracks. There was also some drifting into the tracks in less protected areas, but overall a great ski. Go check it out!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomed the north trail segments this afternoon. The snow was very icy from the weekend warm-up, so the grooming left the deck quite crumbly, but I think the track will be in good shape. Tomorrow we are supposed to get a light dusting of snow, and that should help to finish it off nicely. Started to groom the south, but it was in much better shape than the north, and I felt that grooming would result in a worse condition. While the south is icy right now, I think that dusting of snow we should get will bring it back to very good quality. The south entry is groomed, but I exited the trail east of the first intersection where it parallels a snowmobile trail.

After the weekend thaw, the track is quite icy and fast, but still doable. Careful on the downhills. I plan to try and groom this afternoon or tomorrow afternoon.

Beautiful day for skiing. There were some dog tracks on ski path. Still fun to be out on the trails. I did the lake loop.

Great conditions, great grooming, great trails. The snow is prime for cross-country. Did south loop outer run. Very much fun. Beautiful January weather. Get out and enjoy.

After a few inches over several days, the trails needed a refresh before the weekend. All sections have been groomed.

Skied East Leg; Cut-thru; Central Corridor. Some snow drifts near "C" but the snow is soft, skied through it.
Fresh inch or two of snow. Skiing was really good, beautiful out on the trail.
Happy Trails:).

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The 10-11" dump of light, fluffy snow made grooming more difficult. Made a double pass with just the sled to pack it down before grooming. Groomed the entire north and south segments. The groomer set a beautiful track. After an overnight I'm hoping the deck and track set up nicely. The dry snow may make that less likely.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We had 10+" of snow with a lot of drifting. All North trails except the lake loop were groomed this afternoon. Track was not too good because of the light fluffy snow. Hopefully when some skiers use it the track will get deeper. As of 4PM the parking lot had not been plowed.

Skied East leg, North loop and Central corridor. Received about an inch of snow. The ski was very nice with the fresh snow:) Enjoy the trails.
