Morning
Firsthand: Classic Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
We had 3-5" of very dry, light, fluffy snow overnight. Despite that, the track seemed to set pretty well, so get out there and ski - this is probably the best conditions we'll have all winter. Grooming was completed by 10 AM, and I just skied and found that snowmobiles had travelled on a portion of the south trail that has been groomed for skate skiing. Grooming plans: I will re-groom that portion of the trail tomorrow morning.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
All available segments were groomed this morning. We've had maybe 4-6" of snow the past few days, and it has finally accumulated enough to really make a nice base and track. Some south segments groomed for skate skiing. See the map at the kiosk for details on skate skiing and trail closure due to logging.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Groomed this morning after receiving about 6" of snow yesterday. The prior snow had a thin base remaining and the new snow set a pretty nice track most everywhere. Also groomed a portion of the south trails for skate skiing.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Skied the south trails for about an hour and 45 minutes. It was 0 degrees, but little wind in the trees, and a bright sun. Some leaves and twigs in the track, but overall a very decent skiing experience. It is better than not skiing, so don't let the less than pristine conditions keep you home.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
After about 6-8" of dry, fluffy snow, the trails are groomed. Some track is in good condition, but some is quite leafy close to grass. I decided not to roll first because who knows when we will get more snow, and with it tracked we can at least get some skiing in before the season is over. Note: The south trail's East Loop is closed for logging. Our plan will be to groom from the west up to intersections G and H, but the East Loop and Cut-thru East will not be groomed this season unless logging is completed. Be prepared that East Access and South Loop will be out-and-back from intersections F and J.
