Groomed the south sections this evening. A good track was set, but may end up being soft. Went around once first with the sled to get a packing run in, but no time to also roll it. Lots of light dry snow, so it may not set firmly, plus the deck wasn't getting as blemish-free as usual. Photos show that grooming is a lot of work for an all-volunteer crew; not always fun and games.

All trails in the north section were groomed today. Made several passes along the drifted areas by the lake to smooth it out a bit. Unfortunately we do not have the luxury of extra volunteer hours to roll it first to pack it and then groom it so the deck could be a little soft with all of the dry snow. The sled has to go back in the shop to get the reverse fixed and then hopefully we can groom the south trails by the weekend, but no promises.

Groomed the North trail. It set a nice deep track but in some of the more open areas there is some drifting. The lake side had up to 4' drifts but the rest of the trail set up beautiflly. Enjoy.

All sections north and south were groomed this afternoon. The snowed was well drifted in the typical exposed areas, but being light and dry I was able to get though without a problem. A beautiful track was set and it should firm up nicely for great skiing.

An intrepid and committed groomer took to the trails without reverse available and was able to groom both north and south segments. The sled is now in the shop for repairs, and with little snow in the forecast hopefully it will be returned by the next snowfall. Enjoy the skiing!

Went to groom today after a few inches of snow since we have not groomed since January 9, but the grooming sled won't shift into reverse.  We cannot risk taking the groomer out without a reverse, so for now we'll need to rely on skiers to reset the tracks.  No ETA at this time.

Returned to complete setting a track in the remainder of the South segments we were unable to finish on Friday due to a part breaking. Also re-tracked the north entrance leg that got beat up a bit during yesterday's ski clinic. All segments have been groomed.

All of the north sections were groomed. An excellent track was laid and hopefully it will firm and set overnight despite the drier snow and cold temperatures. While grooming the south sections a part on the groomer's track-setter broke, so only a portion of the south has track set - though all sections were dragged.
