Trails are in perfect shape - classic track was firm and deep - great conditions. The new skate loop on the west side of the river looked perfect as well, looks like they widened this trail out a bit, nice wide skate lane with perfect untouched corduroy. As always you need to get away from the visitors center to escape the areas the walkers have trashed the trail - Thanks to the groomers!

Excellent. Busy day at the park and a lot of skiers. Groomers out and the new tracks are great. The freshly groomed segments are a little soft, the yet to be regroomed are hard and fast. Dark gray ski and flat light. Lots of wolf scat on trail.

Very warm day. 36 Degrees. 1.5’ deep snow pack in most areas. Easy to go up hill. Trails not groomed, though. Gotta blaze a trail over old grooming.

Terrific. Skied above highway on east side of the Gooseberry River. It was a first the hear the river roaring below us. Trails were very good. Near the top of the back loop the classic tracks were a bit deep where they had broken below the crust.

Excellent condition at Gooseberry Falls State Park. Park received several inches of snow yesterday and was freshly groomed for classic only today. I was the first one on the trails and it was absolutely perfect. Skied the eastern hills and part of the center Fields loop. Temperature about 14°. There was a strong wind but the woods protect you mostly from the wind. No debris on the tracks Even though you go through some pines in a few parts.

I skied the trails above the highway East of Gooseberry river. It appeared that all trails were groomed today or on Tuesday. The conditions are excellent with packed powder, full coverage and deep set tracks.

What a beautiful day to be out xc skiing! Center fields and Eastern Hills were groomed nicely. There were a few crunchy spots where the snow had dropped from the trees. I saw lots of animal tracks and birds. A nice late autumn ski!
