Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails are tracked and groomed including two advanced spurs. Classic track set really well, skate lane may be a bit mash potatoy until it sets up. It is definitely a winter wonderland out there so get out and enjoy it. Parking lot is not plowed so park on the highway or at the fairgrounds.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Skied the entire system this morning, except the expert cutoffs. Cloudy and mid-30s at the start, softening and slowing a bit as the sun came out. Conditions are good. Tracks are mostly well formed, shallow, and crumbly in some spots. Some debris here and there but not enough to slow you down or damage your skis. Conditions were better here than at Gooseberry where we skied Saturday (East side) and Sunday (campground loop). Encountered a walker with three unleashed dogs on the trail parallel to Fairground Road. They (mostly) stayed on the skate deck and (mostly) did not punch through. The skate deck was not icy. Many thanks to the groomer for grooming and posting conditions yesterday. As a result we were able to get a good ski in before we head home tomorrow morning.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Groomed trail this afternoon, still lots of small debris on the trail in spots and divots here and there from someone walking on the trail but the skate lane is groomed and the classic track is set. I would suggest getting out there sooner than later if you want to ski.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Not all trail segments appeared to be recently groomed. the outer loop appeared to skate only. We did the Inner, lighted loop twice. With the high forties temperature and high winds, the tracks were squishy and slow on our skis, with lots of pine needles and branches down.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
We received an inch or so of snow this morning so we groomed again and the trail is in excellent condition aside from the drifts in spots. I was able to pack one of the advanced spurs with the snowmobile but will need to let it set up before we are able to pull a groomer through it.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Just groomed, good conditions for classic or skate. Two small advanced loops are still not groomed. Occasional bumpy areas from snowdrifts are groomed over but they are not flat.

Afternoon
Observation
No skate deck. Looked like there were some OK classic tracks. Unfortunately I was planning to skate - left my classic boots at home.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Groomed the trail this afternoon and aside from the drifts, the skate lane is much better and the classic track set really well again too. Grooming plans: I will try to do the two advanced spurs later this week.

Wonderful ski on a beautiful day. The classic track was good, but not yet great. Track was a bit uneven and soft in spots. Blue wax worked great. Sky was blue and there was plenty of bright white snow on the trees.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Groomed the ski trail this morning, lots of downed trees and drifting made for slow going. Shoutout to Mason Linn from the ski team who did a couple laps on his snowmobile yesterday to help with packing the trail, making it much easier today. That said, the skate lane is pretty uneven in spots until the snow sets up, and there are drifts in spots that will slow you down. As soon as the snow sets up we will groom again and it should be much better. The classic track is in great shape and it's truly a winter wonderland out there right now. Did not groom the two advanced spurs, will let the snow settle a bit first. The parking lot is not plowed yet so you will need to park on Hwy 2 or go up to Fairgrounds Rd.
