Located on Rainy Lake, accessible by the VNP ice road only. Maintained by Voyageurs National Park. A rolling classic trail in old growth pine that crosses beaver ponds and rock ridges. Some good hills.Trail Reports

I skied the Pine Trail. There is a classic track for about 1-2k and the whole trail is snowmobile packed. Multi-use, so as many snowshoers as skiers for 2k. A few walkers for 2 miles, then only classic skiers who made their own track on well-packed snowmobile trail. I was able to follow other skiers tracks fairly well because it was not icy.
