Good conditions for early season in Iowa. Pretty good coverage on all trails with a few bare spots showing up along the West Side of the White Pines. Trails are a little soft and need to be skied in. Trails are also narrow for skating and it's was tough to not ski over the classic tracks or avoid getting ski tips stuck in the deeper snow on the edge of the trails. Classic tracks were set and in okay shape. Overall, hard to complain after last year.
