Great to be skiing on fresh snow in Illinois. A few sticks and grass showing through but they were easily avoided. Trails hadn't been groomed after this morning's snow but were still skateable. Informal tracks had been created on the sides of the trails and staff said they hoped to groom and put down tracks for Saturday.
