Trails just regroomed today. Perfect Midwinter conditions. Skied the outer loop in eastern section. Used Swix V30 Blue. Kick could have been better, but perhaps its just bad conditioning.

Lovely conditions in late morning and early afternoon. Skied nearly all trails East of Pilot Knob and found them recently (today) groomed and basically leaf free. Hats off to the groomers who somehow buried the oak leaves beneath the trail.

Put in at Holland Lake and skied an eastern loop. The trails I were on were mostly recently groomed--I couldn't have been more than the 5th one on some of them. The PistenBully did a good job of submerging the leaves and churning the snow so that it wasn't too icy or too crusty. Overall conditions very good to excellent. Tracks were as firm as a bobsled run which meant you bomb down some hills without leaving the grooves. The overcast conditions and lack of wind should preserve the trail.

As of 9:30 this morning, trails aren't groomed from over the weekend but really great conditions! A little packed out on the bottom of hills but no leaves anywhere!

Excellent conditions/grooming for classic. We skied most of the trails (7 miles) between Schultze, Portage, O'Brien, and Jensen lakes. Beautiful scenery with snow covering the trees.

Skied 9 miles on east side of park starting from Schultz Beach. Tracks were generally in good condition. Not many leaves. Beautiful morning for skiing with snow in the trees.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The eastern section of the park (between Pilot Knob Rd. and Dodd Rd.) has been groomed with tracks reset this morning. Unfortunately, the groomer had an equipment breakdown, and the center and west sections will not be groomed today, but the trails are still open.

With warming temps classic tracks are becoming slick. Leafy throughout the woodlands. Not as good ski conditions as several days ago with cooler temps.
