Evergreen and Island trails are closed. There is now a sign at the parking lot saying the remaining trails (Timber, Hill, Prairie, and Fairway) are open but no longer being groomed. With the fresh snow this morning it was a good ski. We skied all that remains open. We noticed the classic tracks were good in the shady spots. In the sun, those classic tracks look compromised. More ice is showing up each day. I agree with the Districts choice to stop grooming. I skied my last day at Baker today for 2021/2022. It was a great season. Thank you groomers! See you next year.

Great conditions at Baker. A few icy patches here and there. Excellent skate skiing overall. Got into tracks and found them icy.

Skied Baker at 8:45 am. All trails are in good conditions for skate except a large icy part (30-40 yards) when you go to Island Trail before the two way trail piece. No going around, all frozen and right after a small downhill so caution. The rest is still in pretty good shape!

It was a spectacular day at Baker. Other than a few short sections of frozen slush the trails were in perfect condition. The skate deck was nice corduroy and the classic track were good. The sunshine and trees coated with snow was a bonus. I suspect it'll be good there for a while, no signs of deterioration.

Fantastic snow at Baker today, really glad I went out. Groomers have been doing their part this season. The deck was a little soft in spots but just needs a good packing and some colder temps. One of the best days this season.

Thanks to the excellent grooming this year at Baker the tracks were still in very good shape with surprisingly few washouts. The bases were icy in places but after getting the hang of the conditions I was able to stay in the tracks about 75% on the time on my second lap. Skied all the trails except the first part of the downhill next to the lodge, which was marked closed.

Skied at 8:30, Island, Timber, Hill and Prairie, all in surprisingly good shape for skate, a few icy spot but grooming is really good. A fine layer of snow and hard substrate makes for fast skiing. Classic tracks did not look good. Only the two way trail to Island is bad. Overall, I always find Baker has the best groomed natural snow in the West metro.

Had to post a report for the second day in a row because Baker's grooming team has done it again. Great conditions for skate, other than just a couple big ice spots. Classic tracks aren't fresh, and looked a bit icy, but are still intact. The groomer was still out making passes when I started at 11:30. This is the place to go if you're looking for some late season natural snow in the west metro. Can't say enough about the fantastic grooming!

Wasn't sure what Baker would be like after the warm temps, but wow, conditions were surprisingly good. A couple big patches of ice in spots that had gotten lots of sun, but otherwise the trails were in great shape. I was probably fourth tracks, with only two other cars in the parking lot. Get out to Baker while these temps hold - you won't regret it. Thanks to the groomers for doing such an excellent job in spite of some tricky weather lately.

Was out at Baker at 9AM and the conditions were great largely due to the incredible grooming team. They made multiple passes through to help patch up some of the icy areas. It was "good" almost everywhere with very minimal icy spots that were easy to ski through. Way to go Baker groomers!
