William O’Brien trails are closed for the season per their website. There were sections around the swamp that were fast and fun but they are done grooming for the season I was told as we left. The tracks were ice in about a third of the wetlands loop. Thanks for all the great work groomers.

Groomed but for southern loops (which were fine). Firm fast predictable. Occasional patches of ice along ponds are minor issues. Super super fun was cruising the ponds, fabulously the Prairie Loop pond. Perfect surface hoar. Enjoy while it lasts!

Skied everything. Mid 20's for highs with an base icy. Until it thaws, be mindful of downhills. The best sections were Hardwood Hills (North America) and Woodland Edge. The flat Wetland Trail is the next best. The campground area has full ice in spots, but manageable. Ski on the left side of the trail. Wedge Hill section's good, but the hill on the east riverside is glare! Better to use the hill down to the Group Camp area. Should be great for the weekend warmup.

Up to the tunnel there were several icy/melting spots. After that conditions were surprisingly good. Skied most of the trails except Hardwood Hills and Prairie Overlook. The grooming on Monday made for a great fast ski, not too icy.

Great morning - ski trails are groomed and excellent. However, in the wooded areas there’s some debris in the classic tracks.
Skate trail looks good.

Great day of classic skiing today. Groomers have done a great job! I used my wax less skis, due to rising temps. Spring skiing at its best!

Fantastic. Fresh grooming. Solid classic track, a few leaves but not bad. The skating lane was still a little soft and running much slower than the tracks. Great skiing.

Excellent conditions today. Great coverage, good grooming. A fair amount of debris on the trail after all the recent wind. Toko yellow grip wax was the ticket for the sunny warm weather.

Classic skiers stay away unless you have waxless skis and don't mind loads of leaves and sticks. I classic skied all loops this morning with waxable skis and spent most of the time in the skate lane. The wind yesterday knocked down lots of debris in the wooded areas and erased the tracks in most open areas. They don't plan to groom today and said they might not groom tomorrow, either. Need some fresh snow to really improve things.

The wide trails were really fun to ski. Minimal debris and a lot of varied terrain and scenery if that's what you are looking for. I'll be back soon.
