Lots of skiers out on the trail. With the delay in the State HS meet, the Highland Park Ski team members were putting in a few pre K's. Good Luck! The classic trail was starting to get wind blown after 3 pm. Glad to get out before the cold arrives.

Very nice morning at H9 today. Other than some shallow tracks by the high school loop the tracks were in very good condition.

Just got done skiing and the trails were perfect. The groomer had just got done when I arrived. Beautiful day!

This was prior to the High School practice. Tracks were pretty soft but my partner had good grip with her waxless skis. Skate had been groomed, not many had gone over it however the track lacked firmness. Beautiful day, no complaints with fresh snow over the mess it was prior. Thanks and good job St Paul groomers.

The whole loop was groomed but I was surprised to find no classic tracks set as of noon today, even though the skate lane was rolled. Was a nice day to be out but the skier made tracks made for some sloppy corners and uneven going in areas.

Beautiful skied-in tracks at Highland this morning but the groomer was headed out as I left.

The skate deck at Highland was groomed after the dusting yesterday, evening out the surface nicely. It was very fast but skiable. The highschool extension was not groomed, so I double-poled in the good, deep tracks in that section. Otherwise the tracks were shallow but looked good. Several people were out on waxless.

Still not groomed. Major crust fest and very icy. Felt more comfortable double poling in the tracks than skating on the deck.

Not yet groomed. If you enjoy no-pole off-trail crust skiing, you’ll find it here! If you prefer to stay on the trail, good luck! It is an ice rink!

Saw the positive report on Como so I thought I’d try Highland. It has not been groomed since the melt over the weekend and thus is an icy rutted mess. I tried to do some double pole work in the tracks and it was ok on flats and uphills but I didn’t feel much control on the downhills and bailed after half a lap.
