Grooming Secondhand
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Finished grooming Wednesday morning. Trails groomed out very nice however with the warmer temps the skiing is fairly soft and slow but talked to a few skiers and they said it was good to very good. Would be nice if it would get cold to firm up but it is what it is. Will not be grooming again before the weekend. Still a good time to get out and enjoy the new snow and the outdoors.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Will looks like I got my wish for more snow. Unfortunately very windy and cold also coming. Grooming plans: Most likely will not groom until after next snow event. Hard to tell right now if we will be able to groom Saturday, Sunday or the beginning of next week. As of now conditions are OK, picked up some new snow Wednesday.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Touched up the skate loop, not sure if it helped or not. Everything is firm and fast. Did not groom traditional tracks as was nervous about how much of a base was left so did not do anything with them but they seemed like they held up good through the week. Lots of leaves and small sticks from the wind last week. Overall trails are fair to good. We really need some new snow to freshen everything up. Did what we could in spite snow conditions. I say it would be descent skiing over the weekend.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Groomed Monday, not a whole lot to work with but even so the trails turned out fair to good. A little soft after grooming but should set up over night hopefully. Some icy and bare spots but for the lack of snow very skiable. Only set single track due to equipment limitations, unsure if will groom on Friday at this time.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ B skis ]
Disappointing. 28-30 F. Slow. Seem to me to have good coverage, icy base, with 2-3 inch fresh snow on top. Hasn't been groomed in a while. If it were groomed, it might have been a much better time.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
With about 2" of very wet snow overnight, the previously set tracks were easy to ski in. The usual oak leaves in the tracks were nicely covered. Husband's skin skis were kicking well. Once I crayoned on some swix blue extra, I found my kick too. It started raining enough that we gave it up after 7 km.
