Trail Detail
Notes
A great mix of beginner and expert ski trails. With the inclusion of the Jerry Jolly Trails there is about 25 km groomed for skating and classic. There is also an additional 15 km of classic only trails. With views of Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands, this is a very scenic area to ski. There is a nice lodge which sells snacks and food as well as a ski patrol and small downhill area.Trail Reports

Abbey Rd., Seagull and the Jolly trails skate decks were groomed this morning. Abbey Rd. and Seagull are skiing fast still and the classic tracks have held up very well. Jolly is still hard but has some comb on it and far less debris. The Anchor system is in excellent shape. Deer Path was tracked this morning though the tracks are still shallow.

Abbey Rd. and the Seagull trails skate decks were groomed this morning- they're reportedly well-packed, hard and some of the classic tracks are icy after yesterday's thaw and freeze overnight. The Anchor system was groomed yesterday and has held up very well. Jolly is hard, icy and still has quite a bit of stick and leaf debris.

We were worried about conditions after the thaw and freeze, but they took the big machine around the Northern Lights and Buzz Loop, and the Anchor and Seagull trails. The tiller worked wonders on the hard surface, skating was fast and the tracks were great too! So much snow still!

Abbey Rd., the Anchor system, Jolly, Northern Lights, The Buzz and Sugarbush Classic were groomed this morning. Abbey, Anchor and Jolly were all groomed early in the morning and have had time to set up nicely. Expect Northern Lights and The Buzz to be a bit soft.

The Abbey Rd. skate deck to the tin shed and lower anchor skate deck were both groomed this morning. The Seagull combination trails and Skid Rd. combination trails were both groomed as well. The hill has gotten 2-3" of snow this morning and it continues to fall. Grooming plans: We anticipate packing and grooming more trails this afternoon once the snow lets up.

The Abbey Rd. skate deck was groomed this morning. The Jolly loop and Anchor system (not including the Seagull connections) were tracked for classic and the skate decks wete groomed. The Northern Lights and The Buzz skate and classic were groomed yesterday and have held up very well with a bit of drifting in the classic tracks. Overall, conditions are excellent.

The hill got between 2-3" of snow since yesterday evening. Sugarbush Classic and Deer Path were groomed this morning along with Anchor and Abbey Road. The soft patch on Northern Lights and The Buzz still exists for the time being but will be remedied soon.

Skied Anchor, Seagull, Northern lights, and the Buzz. We received 1 1/2 to 3 inches of snow this morning and a dusting last night. No new grooming. The classic trail was defined and was skied-in. As mentioned the soft spot on the Northern Lights and on the Buzz was under the coating of snow. Plenty of natural snow. There was a stiff wind and the temperature was in the about 22 and rising. The forest blocked most of the wind so once you were moving it was not noticeable.

The hill got 1-2" of snow last night. Abbey Rd. to the cabin, Northern Lights, The Buzz, Jolly and Ski Rd. were all groomed and tracked this morning. The center of The Buzz and Northern Lights features some very soft snow in the middle so be wary of that. The Anchor skate deck was also refreshed this morning.
