Skied all of Sally's Classic today. Tracks had been set Tuesday or Wednesday. Firm and fast. Skate lane looks excellent, too.

Wonderful grooming on the trails. With the temps above 30F, the snow was just barely starting to collapse so I was very glad to be skate skiing. Several classic skiers reported snow sticking to the bottom of their skis, although the tracks were set nice and deep. Beautiful down by the river, the groomer was just getting to those trails by mid afternoon. Nothing better than fresh tracks and warm temperatures. Lovely place to ski!

Raced on the After hours ski trails in Brûlée this morning. The trail was in perfect corduroy shape the entire race. A big thank you to the groomers and race organizers! Will definitely come back to these beautiful, wooded trails. Jumped in classic tracks at times and found them deep and well set up.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
With lots of work this week, all trails have been groomed and tracked for both skate and classic. The skate lanes have been firming up nicely with the cold days and nights. There's a new small section of Sally's Classic Trail now open for skiers to enjoy. The new trail bypasses a small section of the old trail. With a 5" base, a bit warmer temps expected, and excellent conditions going into the weekend, heavy use is expected on Saturday. Enjoy the season!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The last few days were spent rolling and packing the ski trails, after receiving almost 12" of new snow. The skate deck was groomed this afternoon.
Grooming plans: Classic tracks will be set on Friday. Trails should be in excellent shape in time for the weekend.

Trails for the most part were good. Could use a grooming. A few shallow spots but easy to avoid/ski over.

Classic tracks have been set throughout the trail system. There are some very small areas of grass and debris poking up that you may run into that didn't get a good snow cover, but overall the tracks were able to be set at normal depth. Skate lanes are a bit wavy yet in some areas, but conditions are very good to excellent. Have a safe and fun New Year's weekend!

Grooming

I was able to set a deep classic track on Sally’s Classic this evening without bringing up debris. The trail is still a bit wavy in areas but the recent snow has greatly improved conditions at After Hours. I’m always a little cautious on good or B skis since this was the first groom and track set on this section.
