Very good conditions. Skate lane should be firm. A side by side classic track is set on many flat stretches. The outside edge pole plant may be weak in places. Enjoy the convenience of this trail system located right in Eagle River.

Hasn't been groomed since the most recent 4-5" snow. OK for classical skiing but not yet packed for skate skiing.

Skied these trails when another system in the area we had planned on wasn't grooming because of warm temps. It was a happy turn of events because the Nordmarka trails were very well groomed and enjoyable. Other than a bit of trouble knowing where we were and where we were going due to limited trail marking, it was a excellent experience.

Entire trail system was re-groomed this afternoon. Absolutely wonderful conditions. Skate deck smooth and wide. Most of the long trail sections have been double tracked side-by-side. Tracks are deep and firm. Some hikers were out on the trails but grooming has smoothed out their tracks. We ask folks to not hike or snowshoe on the trails - they are for skiing only.

Very good conditions. Room for classic and skate skiers. Track should have set up well overnight. The snowmobile derby may not make it the quietest experience, but still great skiing can be had!

Entire trail system was re-groomed and tracked. A large portion of the trails have been double tracked side-by-side so you can ski with a friend! The conditions are outstanding for skating or classic. Smooth skate deck and deep tracks. The trails become well-used near the school with their phy-ed classes practicing XC skiing!

Groomed this morning. No classic track set yet as more snow is expected. Expect good classic skiing and fairly good skating. Snow is not packing well together, so the skate push may be a little weak. All in all, come and enjoy. It is a decent trail system right in Eagle River ideal for a quick after work ski.

Good to very good conditions. Expect some wind blown sections and debris on the trails. I tracked a little less than normal, so skating may be a little better than classic. Enjoy!
