First mile had some bare patches and was trampled by walkers. 1.5 miles after that was covered and decent shape but soft. Can't be picky this year and thanks to the trail crew!

Trail was a bit soft and thin but skiable. First 1.5 miles were the best and then there were a bunch of bare patches.

Rolled trail from Menomonie to Downsville. A bit better than expected with some occasional thin spots. Suggest using your old classic skis. Soft and not very good for skating.

Observation

Examined trail this morning and took snow depth measurements near trailhead. Less than 1 to 2 inches of snow on trail and not suitable for rolling or grooming. Some areas with little snow due to wind. No observations were made south of Downsville on the multi-use section of the trail.
