Afternoon
Observation
[ Trails: Closed ]
Because of the recent mild temperatures, the trail surface has transitioned from snow to ice. Attempting to venture out on the trails is not recommended; the trail is extremely slippery.

Afternoon
Observation
MECCA Trails are in marginal skiing condition. There are scattered snowy areas with patches of bare, thin, and icy spots. If you want to explore our trails, we recommend snowshoes.

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Thin conditions similiar to yesterday's ski at Winman trail, maybe a little nicer because the trail still had nice corduroy. Probably not as busy as Winman. Dirt showing and uneven terrain requiring double poling frequently. No classic track set. Still worthwhile if your not trying for speed.

Observed this little beauty late this afternoon. There is a 2-3" base that looked very skatable. No tracks were set. Great warming shelter.

Firsthand: Freestyle

Such a beautiful trail. Love the upand down of the hills, unfortunately they just need more snow. The trails are rolled and there was a couple of inches of fresh snow covering it. Some track was set.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
MECCA groomers were out on this beautiful day and leveled out the trail as best as possible. The skaters will have a smoother ride and track was set wherever possible. Conditions are fair to good with some leaf litter in a few areas.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
The MECCA grooming team rolled and combed the entire system after receiving 4 to 5 inches of snow last night. We still need more snow in order to set the classic tracks. The base is soft but should set up with cold weather.

Mercer got 3" of snow Saturday and the grooming team packed the trails on Saturday and Sunday. The base is still too thin to open, but some skiers have been out. Snowshoe trails are open for hiking.
