Notes

Trails are on rolling glacial terrain through pine, spruce and tamarack forests. A heated chalet with a vault toilet, wax bench, and changing room is located at the Cabin trailhead. There is a second trailhead at the Little Turtle Flowage parking lot.

MECCA got 5+" of snow in the past 48 hours. The grooming team has rolled and combed the trail system. They plan to set tracks tonight.

Trails had been rolled with an inch or two of new snow on top. No tracks set yet. New snow made for enjoyable skating. Always a nice stop on the way to Ironwood. Snowing when we quit at sunset.

Trails got 2" of fresh snow in the past 36 hours. We groomed on Christmas eve. It's early season conditions, so we recommend using your "B" skis. We haven't set tracks yet.
